EstonianAn article on Damanhur was published in an Estonian magazine called ÜKS, which means 'One,' written by Kadri Allikmäe. Kadri came to visit Damanhur for the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) Europe conference in July of 2010, and returned in January to research the Damanhurian education system, particularly the kindergarten, for her university thesis.

In the article, written in Estonian, Kadri describes education at Damanhur, citing Caribù, one of the kindergarten teachers, who says, "The most important thing for a teacher to do is to be himself or herself. Only then can he or she be a source of inspiration for children." Kadri also describes her experiences in the Temples of Humankind, at the Oracle Rite, and Ecstatic Dance, as well as the warmth of the nucleos and the value of simplcity of community life and sharing. She also touches upon the Synchronic Lines and synchronicity, and the concept of continuous change as a pathway to happiness, moving through our shadow selves, a lesson learned at Damanhur.

"Global warming of the Heart" by Alexia Parks

"Ten years ago, I described the emerging New Human in an online report titled Rapid Evolution. I identified Damanhur, a community in northern Italy, as the best model to date, for the emerging human community. I wrote another description of this heart-centered, self-reliant individual and the emerging New Economy in OM Money Money."

love_webFalco's (Oberto Airaudi's) writings on the topic of love, edited by Esperide Ananas, are featured in the book The Love of the Fifth Spiritual Paradigm, recently released in publication by the Oracle Institute Press. The volume is an international collection of over 70 stories, essays and poems written by past and present spiritual guides who speak about love in its various forms. Falco's writings, entitled "Gift of Love, Luminous Calling: Here I Am to confuse Your Heart," offer the poetic titles of selected Selfic paintings on love, interspersed with text discussing various forms of love: the love that connects people with each other, for instance, and divine love as a force that unites everything in the universe.

"Could it be possible that a plant could actually sing? Could different plants sing different tunes and react to the ways that we treat them? Saveit4aSong was lucky enough to capture a demonstration of a ‘singing’ plant, with the use of some intriguing technology. Technology that could make us question our beliefs about the plant world..."

"Rejuvenation can be found at the Federation of Damanhur, a spiritual art community dedicated as a "laboratory for the future of humanity." It is in the northern foothills near Turin where I spent four days during my last trip to Italy. Guests interested in spiritual renewal come to visit for 1/2 day to a week and include many famous folks like Sting and Julia Butterfly Hill.

What drew me to stay at Damanhur were stories of an underground Temple of Humankind carved by hand out of the rock. Rich in mosaics, glass, painting and sculpture, with the largest Tiffany cupola in the world, it's the result of over thirty years of work, begun in secret and revealed to the public in 1991. But what is most interesting is how a large, cohesive community has sprung from this work..."

These are external factors that can be relatively easily managed. We have learned a lot in this regard here at Damanhur, and we would like to share with you what has worked for us ..."

The Italian Underground: They carved a cave world in secret, created their own currency, and named their leader Falcon. Are they onto something?

Residents of Vidracco (pop. 500) knew the newcomers were different. Since 1977, they'd been showing up one by one in the little Piedmontese valley, marching in from Turin like bugs following a trail of syrup. They kept to themselves. Their chitchat, when it came zoomed right past the commonplace - nothing on the latest Juventus game or the sorry state of farming in the valley. Instead they spoke of "Esoteric Physics," astral-plane travel, and Vidracco's remarkable "synchronic energy lines."...
