At a time in history when the majority of peoples and races are becoming extinct, leaving humanity poorer in culture and diversity, Damanhur has created a human group with its own artistic expression, philosophy and culture.
As a response to the requests to identify one’s ideals with the goals of Damanhur, while at the same time continuing to live one’s own life without a direct involvement in the activities of the Federation, Damanhur has created the Magical People, dedicated to spiritual researchers, philosphers, ecologists and men and women who believe in the values of sensitivity, optimism and friendship.
The Spiritual People of Damanhur is a container of energies, talents, shared experiences and ideals, in harmony with humanity and with the spiritual eco-system in which it is immersed. It is the seed of a possible Renaissance of peoples and cultures in order to recreate on Earth human groups of ‘enlightened’ people and to spread knowledge and talents from the spiritual heart of humanity. Being part of the People is a spiritual link which is activated with one’s will and ceases when no longer thought about.
Through its means, every member can receive inspiration and strength and can pour back into the shared reservoir their most valuable characteristics. The Spiritual People counts thousands of members throughout the world, people with different cultures, philosophies and experiences, brought together by the active commitment to transforming themselves and the talent with concrete, aware action. All members of the Spiritual People come together at least one time a year in Damanhur, generally in August, to celebrate together on the day dedicated to the People.
