International Transpersonal Conference in Moscow PDF Print E-mail
logoDamanhur was in Moscow June 23 - 27, 2010, represented by Esperide Ananas, presenting at the 17th International Transpersonal Conference - Consciousness Revolution: Transpersonal Discoveries that are Changing the World. The mission of the conference is to present the fundamental role of consciousness in all human affairs and the value for humanity of our growing insights into the nature of consciousness and of the world. Two presentations were given on Damanhur, one on the Temples of Humankind as an instrument for transforming consciousness, and a seminar on Selfica that included a guided meditation. Esperide also facilitated a roundtable discussion on the theme of community as means of bringing about the evolution of consciousness.

Two of Falco's selfic paintings were on exhibition at a modern art gallery in Moscow, in connection with Alex Grey's artwork and his two-day seminar on Visionary Art.

Speakers at the conference included: Stanislav Grof, Pilot Baba, Jim Garrison, Rick Tarnas, Amit Goswami, Ralph Metzner, Rajesh Dalal, Stuart Sovatsky, Max and Ellen Schupbach, Karan Singh, Silvia Nakkach, Eduard Sagalaev, Bronislav Vinogrodsky and others.

Themes of the conference were: The Great Spiritual Traditions of the World, Russian Transpersonalism, New Cartography of the Human Psyche and the Holotropic Perspective, Transpersonal Psychology and Deep Ecology, Consciousness Revolution and How to Heal the Global Crisis, Consciousness and the New Paradigm in Science, Extraordinary Human Possibilities, Global Problem and Human Evolution, Spirituality and Politics, Spirituality and Business, Spirituality and Sexuality, Transpersonal Dimension of Art, Transpersonal Psychology and Higher Education.
