The City of Vidracco, home to Damanhur Crea and many Damanhur communities, shall become the sister city of San Carlos, Nicaragua, the municipality connected to the island of Mancarroncito. The sisterhood is part of a larger initiative that involves the sisterhood of the Damanhur School with the school of Mancarroncito, and organizing educational courses for the Nicaraguan youth of the school about drinking water, solar panels and more.
The Ambassador of Nicaragua in Rome has agreed to sponsor the project and the sisterhood of the two cities. In addition to the City of Vidracco, the Federation of Damanhur is supporting the initiative, as well as the Volunteer Ecology and Forest Guards (GEV). |
